Community Programs are held for the membership monthly

Community programs are held monthly for the membership.

Gather

We gather to learn and share knowledge on a variety of topics from specific gardening skills to learning about farms or local businesses contributing to horticulture in our area.

Cultivate

Our programs foster community across a range of skill levels and interests. We have members who have been in the club 30 plus years and we have members joining us who have just moved to the High Country. Our members come together over a love of flowers and service for the area.

Give Back

We offer opportunities to volunteer or join various project committees throughout the year to get involved in service where we give back outside of the civic gardens. Whether you would like to donate your time in the garden, on a project, or financially, we are continuously striving to create multiple ways for our members to get involved.

Community Programs are offered each month from April-December.

“New programs are coming for the new year - come and check us out.”

“I enjoy how the programs are diverse and highlight local businesses or other non-profits in the community that are contributing to horticulture somehow. For me, it is about more than gardening, it is also about spending time with this amazing group of people”.

—Tay, member since 2019

“My favorite garden is the garden outside the Cancer Center. It gives the patients beautiful scenery to enjoy while getting treatment.”

— Kathleen, member since 2013
